We wanted to inform you about an important update from the Malaysian Consulate in Mumbai regarding visa requirements for Indian citizens traveling to Malaysia.

Tourism Travel: Indian citizens traveling to Malaysia for tourism purposes are now exempt from visa requirements.

Business Travel: For business purposes, an e-visa is required. Please apply for the e-visa a maximum of 30 days before your departure.

Malaysia Business eVisa Checklist ( Scanned appropriately ):

1. Passport Copy: JPEG format, 1st, and last page.

2. Photo: JPEG format.

3. Flight Ticket: PDF format.

4. Hotel Booking: PDF format.

5. Cover Letter and Bank Statement: Merged in one PDF, with a bank seal, showing a minimum balance of 1 lakh for the last 3 months.

6. Invitation Letter: PDF format.

7. Previous Travel Stamp Pages: Scanned in PDF format.

8. Processing time: Minimum 5 working days.

Please ensure you have all the necessary documents ready and apply for the e-visa in advance to ensure a smooth business trip to Malaysia.
