The Philippines has introduced a new e-visa system aimed at simplifying the visa application process for travelers, including Indian passport holders.

 This system, which is now available across all consular offices in India. This system allows eligible travelers to apply for a visa online without the need to visit the embassy or consulate, making it more convenient.

 Key Features of the Philippine E-Visa System:

1. Fully Online Application: Indian nationals can now apply for a Philippine visa entirely online, without the need to visit the embassy or consulate in person.

2. Simplified Process: The process involves submitting basic personal and travel information, along with the necessary supporting documents.

3. Fast Approval: Once the application is approved, the E-Visa will be issued electronically, making it easier and faster for travelers to obtain their visa.

4. Multiple Entry Options: The system offers flexibility, including multiple-entry visas, making it suitable for both short-term and frequent travelers.

 Eligibility criteria for travelers for e-visa:

1. Passport should be valid for 6 months from the date of departure from Philippines.

2. 80,000 minimum balances per person have to maintained in bank account for both tourist and business visa category.

3. Scanned Photo in JPEG Format

4. Scanned copy of last 6-month Bank Statement with original sign and sealed from the bank.

5. Visa fees to be paid by Bank Transfer or NEFT only.
