As of 30th October 2024, and as per decision of the Embassy of Portugal in New Delhi, VFS will only accept a maximum of ten (10) documents daily for attestation and legalization.

Applicants shall be aware of that and must prepare their documents timely and in advance.

Kindly recall that documents issued by countries that are not a Contracting State of the Hague Convention must have their documents attested beforehand by the respective Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by the respective Embassy/High Commission in New Delhi before submission for legalization by the Embassy of Portugal in New Delhi.
