As per instructions received from Italian Consulate in Mumbai, Italy Visa Application Centre in Mumbai now has a new Tourist Visa Category available for customers who have previously travelled to Schengen countries.

Italy Tourist Visa (For applicants who have travelled to Schengen before).
Below are the eligibility criteria to apply for above visa category.
• If a family is applying for visas together, all members will be treated as ‘travelled’ applicant if just the father or mother has travelled to Schengen countries previously.
• Family constituents as - Wife, husband, son, daughter.
• Applicant must have travelled to Schengen country with a visa that has been issued by any Schengen Country.
• Applicant will need to apply in person at the Mumbai Visa Application Centre on the scheduled appointment date under this category.
• At present this category is available at the Mumbai Visa Application Centre only.
• Customers from Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, and Cochin can apply for their Italian Tourist Visa at the Mumbai Visa Application Centre.
If an applicant fall under the above criteria, kindly cancel your existing tourist appointment and promptly schedule a new appointment under the above-mentioned category.
As the demand for this category is anticipated to be high, securing your appointment at the earliest convenience is advised.
The above category of applicants can also avail Visa At Your Doorstep (VAYD) Services by booking the appointment in above visa category.
