Please find below few updates received from VFS.

Italy:
Applicants are now allowed to submit their application up to 6 months before
their date of departure, instead of the current 3 months (in case of seamen up
to 9 months).

France:
Insurance for long term must cover entire stay for at least maximum of 1 year.

Estonia: VFS
will now accept the application of other country nationals, who reside in India
legally and have Indian resident permit. While they can’t provide all the
documents that most Indian citizens do, VFS will accept all documents necessary
such as the application form, documents showing the purpose of travel,
insurance, ticket and accommodation details and other financial documents

Germany:

Travel
health insurance for transit visa: Applicants must submit their
travel health insurance for transit visa in case of change of airports and
domestic flight bookings from Frankfurt to Munich.

Visa Transfer: Applicant can continue to
travel carrying the old passport that has a valid visa along with his new
passport. If the applicant wishes to transfer the visa from the old passport to
the new passport, visa fees will be charged.
